Steve Parker

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Parker brings over 23 years of highly successful corporate, start-up, and entrepreneurial experience to the EcoTechnologies Group with a strong focus on new product development, marketing and enterprise building. His corporate background includes ten years in Fortune 500 consumer package goods marketing, having worked on several leading national brands. He then co-founded his own package goods firm where he launched a unique food product, grew distribution to over 4,000 stores and $6 million in sales, and ultimately sold the business for over 10X invested capital within two years of launch.

Upon selling his company, Mr. Parker then turned his attention to the Internet where he helped create the original business plan and web site for MyPoints.com. As Senior Vice President of Marketing, he was an officer and integral member of the management team that took the company public in 1999. During his tenure, MyPoints achieved a market capitalization of over $2 billion and a database of 16 million members before being acquired by United Airlines in early 2001. Mr. Parker then served as CEO of Cogit.com during the dot.com meltdown, successfully selling the company’s intellectual property and assets to multiple buyers.

After these many business successes, he spent 2002 traveling the world and starting a family before refocusing his energies primarily toward real estate investing and education. Mr. Parker has been instrumental in creating over $20 million in transactions during the last few years and has completed syndicated investment projects with many high-net-worth, high profile partners and investors.

As CEO of EcoTechnologies Group, Mr. Parker is responsible for establishing and implementing the strategic direction of the firm and is intimately involved in the due diligence and analysis process of selecting partner firms, technologies and projects. With a direct and focused leadership style, his primary goal is working with his management team and business partners to develop meaningful commercialization goals and then sustainable action and accountability toward their achievement. Mr. Parker has an MBA from Loyola University in Chicago (Beta Gamma Sigma) and a BS in Commerce from the University of Virginia.
